I have a fairly basic question. After performing FOD registrations using mrregister, is it possible to apply the computer warps (or, in my case their inverses) to a scalar image?
I would like to apply the inverses of warps computed during FOD registration (single subject -> template ) to a scalar WM atlas which ‘lives’ in template space.
Perfectly reasonable thing to do. Whether registration is driven by the higher-order information present in FODs or just a 3D image, the non-linear transformation data that are the result of that registration process are ultimately still just (in the simplest case) a 3D deformation field, which can then be used to transform either 3D or FOD data equally.
