The two issues are unrelated.

Issue #1:

> MRview opens but when I load a Tractography file (that I was able to open without issues with the previous OS), it continues loading, being impossible to be used.

This is the consequence of moving from Intel to Apple Silicon. For the time being you will have to use this workaround:

> [@Issues with pseudotube rendering on Apple M1 macs](https://community.mrtrix.org/t/issues-with-pseudotube-rendering-on-apple-m1-macs/4505):

> While MRtrix3 works great on the [new Apple M1 macs](https://www.apple.com/mac/m1/), currently, MRview’s rendering of fiber tracks as pseudotubes is subject to the following issues: crashing when loading large tractograms (containing in excess of 10K tracks) slow performance when displaying small tractograms We suspect that these issues arise from the way Apple translates our GLSL geometry shaders to the Metal API. Until this is fixed, users of the new Apple M1 macs are advised to add MRViewDefaultTractGeomType: Lines to …

Issue #2:

>
> Following this, when opening MRview I get the following error in the Terminal:
> “mrview[775:8954] WARNING: Secure coding is not enabled for restorable state! Enable secure coding by implementing NSApplicationDelegate.applicationSupportsSecureRestorableState: and returning YES.”

This is the consequence from updating to Sonoma as also reported in [shview: Secure coding is not enabled for restorable state! on macOS 14 · Issue #2740 · MRtrix3/mrtrix3 · GitHub](https://github.com/MRtrix3/mrtrix3/issues/2740). Interestingly, you get the warning also for `mrview`, while for me it only shows up when running `shview`. It is just a warning, so mrview should operate just fine. I suspect this will get fixed in the next update.
