# DKE/DKI Maps Estimation uisng Mrtrix3

Hi Dear Mrtrix Community.

I am trying to eastimate the DKE/DKI maps estimation using Mrtrix commnad:

dwi2tensor “$dwi\_file” “$tensor\_output.mif” -mask “$mask\_file” -fslgrad “$bvec\_file” “$bval\_file” -dkt “$dkt\_output.mif” -force

as output i get dkt\_output.mif, however when i used tensor2metric to get DKE/DKI maps itgive error “[ERROR] unknown option “-rk”” and same for other metrics.

However, at mrtrix documenetation page there is mentioned that you can get Diffusion Kurtosis metrics.

- **-dkt image** input diffusion kurtosis tensor.
- **-mk image** compute the mean kurtosis (MK) of the kurtosis tensor.
- **-ak image** compute the axial kurtosis (AK) of the kurtosis tensor.
- **-rk image** compute the radial kurtosis (RK) of the kurtosis tensor.
- **-mk\_dirs file** specify the directions used to numerically calculate mean kurtosis (by default, the built-in 300 direction set is used). These should be supplied as a text file containing [az el] pairs for the directions.
- **-rk\_ndirs integer** specify the number of directions used to numerically calculate radial kurtosis (by default, 300 directions are used).
