Glyph size in mrview

Hello MRtrix,

Is there a way to control (reduce) the glyph size when displaying with mrview?

Specifically, when I display FODs computed with CSD and related methods the glyph size if fine. But when I display tensors (-odf.load_tensor) the glyphs are too large and hard to tell visually if they are good.

Thank you,

Davood

Hi Davood,

In the ODF overlay tool, under “Display settings”, use the “scale” value to universally enlarge / shrink any type of orientation glyph overlay.

Getting mrview to choose an appropriate scaling parameter upon loading the image data has been an outstanding issue for some time. Though in my own experience the tensor overlay usually works fine, it’s plotting the raw DWI intensities as glyphs that requires gross scaling.

Cheers
Rob
