# How to zoom in/out quickly in mrview

Hello MRtrix experts,

Is there a keyboard shortcut or combination of mouse and keyboard that can be used to zoom in and out quickly? Currently, I can only zoom in through “view menu -\> zoom in”. It works, but I have to click many times to reach the level at which I can see the details that I would like to see. So is there a more time efficient way of zooming in? I know in shview I can zoom in quickly just by hold&drag the right mouse button.

On a Mac I use `command` `+` to zoom in.

`ctrl` and `mouse wheel` on windows and linux

Pinch to zoom should also work on multitouch touchpads, if you’re on a laptop.
