# Mrview version 3.0.4 crashed

Dear MRtrix experts,

Yesterday, when I tried to run mrview, it crashed. And I have viewed this issue in some old threads, it seems this can generally solved by updating. However, my mrview version is 3.0.4, already the latest version. I would attach my debug information below, and hope this would be useful.

My system is Ubuntu 20.04, mrview 3.0.4, Qt version 5.12.8

```auto
mrview -debug
mrview: [DEBUG] No config file found at "/etc/mrtrix.conf"
mrview: [DEBUG] No config file found at "/home/workstation/.mrtrix.conf"
QOpenGLWidget: Failed to create context
qt.qpa.backingstore: composeAndFlush: QOpenGLContext creation failed
qt.qpa.backingstore: composeAndFlush: makeCurrent() failed
qt.qpa.backingstore: composeAndFlush: makeCurrent() failed
qt.qpa.backingstore: composeAndFlush: makeCurrent() failed

```

And I have tested `mrinfo`, it works well.

Hi,

Could it be due to your version of OpenGL or use of a virtual machine?

If mrinfo and other commands that don’t use graphic process work it likely means there’s nothing wrong with mrtrix but only with the system graphics requirements.

Thanks for your help. I fixed this problem yesterday, my remote apps caused it. I reopened the server and the error was gone.
