Peaks of FODs

Dear MRtrixer ,

I have a question about peak extraction of FODs.

Using amp2sh and then sh2peaks command I can extract the peaks of signal. is it correct ?
But if I want to extract the peaks of FODs map. Is it right to use FODs as an input of sh2peaks ?

Yes, that’s correct: sh2peaks on the FOD image (which is stored as SH coefficients) will simply extract the peaks of the FOD. Alternatively, you could also use a combination of fod2fixel and fixel2voxel to get the directions of the segmented FOD lobes (this is what’s done within dwi2response, for instance).
