Advice on Combining TBSS and ComBat

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for general recommendations on combining TBSS and ComBat when analyzing data from two sites (and three different scanners). Specifically, I’m unsure whether it’s better to:

  1. Harmonize the FA NIfTI files with ComBat first and then run TBSS on the skeleton, or

  2. Perform TBSS first and apply ComBat to the resulting skeleton.

I haven’t found clear guidance on this so far. Has anyone here worked with multi-site data in this context and could share their experience or suggestions?
