I would like to generate global tractography with the output of dwi2fod, globaltck need as input dwi; Is it ok to use the image output of dwi2fod or isn’t it needed ?

Why do you want to do this? tckglobal internally uses the multi-tissue spherical convolution model. If you use the same WM, GM & CSF responses as you used for tck2fod, tckglobal will optimize the full-brain track configuration that best explains the acquired data with MT-CSD as the local forward model.

It would be cool/useful to have tckglobal also support fODFs as input. Would make tckglobal immediately applicable on new or alternative models (from other software).
