ERC-funded PhD and Postdoctoral positions on Microstructure imaging with MRI at University of Antwerp

I have three open positions, two for a Ph.D. student and one for a post-doctoral/senior researcher, at the University of Antwerp (Belgium).

These positions are part of the ERC Consolidator project “A data-driven approach to microstructure imaging” (ADAMI), funded by the European Union. ADAMI is a highly interdisciplinary project that combines insights from physics/engineering (imaging and image processing of MRI and light-sheet microscopy), biological and medical sciences (tissue microstructure, immunostaining, and neuroscience), and computer science (data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence) to achieve a breakthrough in microstructure imaging with MRI.

You will be embedded in the Vision Lab (image processing and analysis) of the Physics Department, but working in close collaboration with the Radiology Department (clinical MRI, Medicine), as well as the Bio-Imaging Lab (preclinical MRI, Biomedical Sciences), and the Laboratory of Cell Biology and Histology (histology, Biomedical Sciences), which are all in walking distance of each other on the same green campus.
