Mrview crashes on Mac

Hi everyone - I am new to tractography and am trying to visualize tck and mif files in the mrview gui. I noticed that whenever I try to load more than 10k streamlines the gui crashes on me. I am using a Mac Book Pro with an M4 Pro chip and 48 GB of memory.

So far I have circumvented this issue by using tckedit to downsample everything to 10k but I was wondering if this is an issue on my end and if there is anything that can be done to circumvent this problem.

This is a known issue that is about to be resolved ( Fix tractography rendering performance on macOS by daljit46 · Pull Request #3197 · MRtrix3/mrtrix3 · GitHub ) in the upcoming release.

For the time being you can use the workaround described here: https://community.mrtrix.org/t/issues-with-pseudotube-rendering-on-apple-m1-macs
