I’m attempting to use MRtrix3 on my Windows machine via WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux 2), but I’m encountering issues with the graphical interface. Unlike using MSYS2, I prefer to utilize WSL2 for its compatibility and ease of use within my workflow.
However, I’ve noticed that the graphical interface for MRview doesn’t display properly. Even though I’ve successfully set up Xming and can correctly display graphical interfaces for other software like Freeview from Freesurfer, MRview remains blank. I’ve ensured that I’ve installed MRtrix3 correctly, but the issue persists.
I’ve come across earlier posts mentioning similar problems with MRtrix3 on WSL (Installing on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)), but I haven’t found a clear solution yet. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, were you able to resolve it? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
