Use of MRTrix on windows

Hello,
I recently followed the instruction on Windows installation — MRtrix 3.0 documentation and everything seems to work until I type mrview in the MinGW-w64 Win64 Shell, at which point I get the error message

mrview: [WARNING] unable to determine OpenGL version - operation may be unstable if actual version i
s less than 3.3

mrview: [SYSTEM FATAL CODE: SIGSEGV (11)] Segmentation fault: Invalid memory access

Anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks.
Philip

Hi @QPHE,

I realise this may come too late to be useful, but just in case: there have been quite a few changes to the MSYS2 project since we released the last version, and one of these changes is that they provide a few other shells besides the Win64 one. Try using a different one, for example the UCRT64 one, see if that helps.

Otherwise, I’m not sure what the issue is, other than incomplete OpenGL drivers on your system. What graphics card is installed? And do you have the latest version of the drivers for that card installed?

All the best,
Donald.
