What do intensities of GMWMI mask represent?

Hello,

I used the HSVS algorithm to generate a 5tt image, and then created a GMWMI with 5tt2gmwmi. The GMWMI doesn’t appear to be a binary mask. I would like to ask what the intensities of the GMWMI image represent. For compatibility with a different software, I need a mask that is only binary, so I was wondering if thresholding the GMWMI above 0 is safe, or if you would suggest a different threshold for binarizing this image.
