The help page of tensor2metric suggests I can calculate mean Kurtosis by -mk option but this option is not working. Any thought ?

This feature is not yet available in the master branch or release.
I think you have been looking at the documentation of the dev branch instead of the master branch.
If you want to test the DKI measurements you have to checkout the dev branch from GitHub and build it from source.
